This vintage wood has a story that is irreplaceable and has played a significant role in the protection of America’s Freedom.  RadialWood™ served previously as shipping platforms for the United States Government to ship airplane tires, artillery tires, and other rubber products to both the European and Pacific theaters during World War II.  These durable pieces of history were shipped back to the United States carrying miscellaneous supplies stateside.  The wooden platforms remained in civilian use until 2020 when Appalachian Antique Hardwoods acquired them.  This 200 year old wood is now recycledWaste converted into reusable material More and reused by the company in modern projects as flooring, walls, ceiling, railing, and components for wooden based products for other companies.
