We have had the pleasure of working with Clint Ramsey and the entire team at Appalachian Antique Hardwoods for several years now. As an architect, I am very discerning about the look, feel and the aesthetics of every material and feature of my designs. The group at AAH has always gone above and beyond all expectations in providing options and new ideas to make sure the architectural design is perfect. Their attention to detail is outstanding and their understanding and respect for the overall architectural integrity of our projects is rare in the industry. I will always make AAH part of our design process, when that “look” is needed. We have been extremely pleased with every aspect of their company.
Ali, Jeff, and Peyton,
Huge thanks for your amazing hospitality, the reclaimed lumber knowledge, and, of course, for setting me up with that incredible piece of heart pine! Y’all are fantastic!
I always look forward to my trips to Appalachian Antique Hardwoods! I have worked with several antique/barnwood companies in the past that don’t hold a candle to the service and quality I’ve gotten from AAH. Jeff Cundall and the staff there have been a total pleasure to work with. Friendly folks that have the knowledge and skills that make difficult projects much simpler to deal with. Having a resource like this available to me is invaluable. I will be a client of AAH for a long time to come. Look forward to creating more beauty together!
Please forgive me for taking so long to formally recognize the excellent customer service you have provided to Julianne’s Design and Build during the Willis Project in Gustine, Texas. Even though this project involved much of your time for travel, emails and phone calls you were always so willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer was served.. Even though several companies are offering the same product as you, your demeanor, service, patience and expertise will certainly bring my company back to you for future products. I have given your name to fellow builders in hopes of seeing you expand more into Erath County and beyond.
Warmly,
We ordered a sizeable quantity of reclaimed wood in all shapes and sizes including support beams, columns, siding, twig railings and barnwood for door and window trim from Zac and AAH about fifteen years ago, for our Virginia winery. It helped us create a blend of Adirondack and Appalachian charm. They did a first class job for us then, and again about a year ago, when we needed more material for another project on site. Zac continues to be a pleasure to work with and it is refreshing to do business with a company that cares so much about customers and service. They are the best in their industry, and in using AAH for materials, we know we are helping to preserve history and sustainability – not to mention that their products add instant charm and character to a new home. We highly recommend AAH for these reasons.
